Bad blogging lingo.

Gawker has a list of cliches that you shouldn't be using in your blogs. I am guilty of Best. Something. Ever. (without that particular use of punctuation, but still, mea culpa) and FTW (more than once, and probably a few other such chatty items). What blog cliche crimes have you committed?

Oy, screw them. I just read that, and I threw up a little in my mouth. Seriously, it made my eyes bleed. Part of having the best. blog. evar. is participating in the memespeak of the moment (or moments past, if you want to use the "Yo, that's so out" for irony.

'Cuz you know, net-speak is the new valley talk.

And what's next? They'll declare the letter e passe, like the life and death brigade did on Gilmore Girls? Actually, that would be pretty cool. Gilmoregasm! No-e-speaking goodness!

Because I totally purport to be the damn New York Times, oh wait, not so much. Let me set my own discourse style, wait for it, because it's my blog and I don't care if anyone in particular reads it. (I'm looking at you, Gawker. Um, generalise much?)

I mean, 'bad' isn't subjective right? It's what Gawker says it is, right? Seriously...seriously, is that right?

(This is only mildly funny if you RTFA.)
