Toy Story 3 uncancelled.

I once lauded Disney and Pixar for not falling prey to sequelitis and the greed of making a sequel when a new feature would be so much better. It seems that it wasn't originality that they sought but actually just the right team to take another swing at it. Sigh. I am SO tired of Tom Hanks I could scream.

I'd like to believe Pixar when they say they wanted the right creative team and actors to make another Toy Story. But I'm more inclined to think that it's all about the Benjamins.

I'm going to remain optimistic that this will be as much an improvement on the original as Toy Story 2.

Tom Hanks is annoying. And everything is about the money. But TS2 was better than 1. So there's a chance this could be better. And it IS pixar.

I like the people who think JK Rowling should keep writing Harry Potter books after the 7th. If JRR Tolkien were still alive, someone would be trying to convince him to write more LotR books.

It's those dorks bugging JKR about post-Voldemort era HP books that might get Harry killed. There's speculation (and she's hinted she might consider it) that she'll kill Harry in book 7 to end the possibility of books being written after she finishes 7, much like Conan Doyle killed off Holmes because he'd begun to loathe writing the books.

Of course, Conan Doyle resurrected Holmes, didn't he, so who can say what anyone will do?

With a magical based world I am pretty sure Harry will be annoying us for years to come.

James Bond was also killed and resurrected in Ian Fleming's novels.

I dunno, my usual reaction is to quit when I think I'm done. I only read three Dune novels, and I've never read the sequels to Ringworld or Rendezvous with Rama.
