Live blogging still sucks.

There was a half-hour hailstorm in downtown Denver. Curiously, I had spent a few minutes making a verbal list of apocalyptic catastrophes, but had not included hail. They got things cleaned up for the Rockies game against the Cards. (No, we didn't get tickets.)

I don't know why I'm posting about baseball. The one guy I know here in town is a Red Sox fan, and I can't talk to Tom about baseball. Maybe Tom should talk to the Sox guy about World Series tickets. Must be nice.

OH MY GOD, Pujols totally tagged that guy out and we'll never see that replay again cause they're playing the Rockies and we're watching on a Denver station. I'm sure it'll be shown on St. Louis TV! The Denver commentators even said, "Well, it doesn't matter now," which means, "Who gives a shit, we scored a run!"

Whoa, Molina got dinged on his wrist, and they're looking for a catcher... and Jose Oquendo jumps out with a catcher's mask to warm up! God, I love that guy. Played all positions in his career, even pitcher and catcher.

Oh dear, three walks from Looper and then a grand slam home run. They don't seem to have any problems with showing the replay of that play here on the Denver station. Cards won the next game, though, with a brand new pitcher. Sometimes that works.

It wasn't a replay of the grand slam. They just hit them at the rate of once every 86 seconds in Colorado.
