Let's have some faith in Pixar.

I can think of lots of reasons why Cars is going to suck. However, the new trailer looks promising, and how can you not throw $7.50 at the guys responsible for The Incredibles and Monsters, Inc. who decided not to do another Toy Story? Those guys rock. Besides, it's something new and not a sequel, prequel or remake!

Let me guess...

Plucky little car gets told throughout the movie that he can't do it, and he ends up winning a race, or something.

All Disney movies nowadays are just The Little Engine that Could with some new cute little thing to make kids want to watch it.

Threadjack!

Tool debuted at #1. Huzzah.

Also, how about that NSA wiretapping about two-thirds of American citizens? Hooray for SBC just getting bought about by AT&T, now I get to be a suspected terrorist too!

The first trailer was AWFUL. Secondly, it's 9.25 over here. But I will probably still see it with my friends kids.

Cars is a remake. It's Doc Hollywood with anthropomorphic cars.

I've already seen "Cars". It's on PBS and it's called "Thomas the Tank Engine". I think this is going to suck as well. That first promo really damaged the whole thing. I would have rather seen another Toy Story or perhaps a sequel to The Incredibles.

I've read some about the story and where it comes from, and there's more to it than that. That's why I said we have to have faith.
