Beyond embiggens and cromulent.

What the Simpsons have done to the English language is absolutely criminal and totally hilarious. This scholarly essay flags their affronts as productive derivational morphology or back-formation, morphology, bound cran-morphs. I'm not sure what that means, but I love this article. It's full of great examples like this one:

Episode: Simpsons Halloween Episode IX.
Episode # 1004 AABF01
Comparative/superlative morphophonological rules
Kent Brockman: “Another of Springfield’s belovedest citizens has been murdered.”
