Good Night, and Good Luck.

After suffering through Scooby Doo and Sweet Home Alabama on previous flights, I actually saw a terrific movie on the plane back from Seattle.

Like M*A*S*H (the wonderful Robert Altman film, not the television show), Good Night, and Good Luck means so much more for when it was made than just what it says. What it says is a powerful lesson for all time, but especially for the time of its release, just like Altman's film.

Journalism used to mean something. It used to be a tool for the doing of good things. With the passing of men of integrity before and behind the cameras, that is no longer the case.

I wonder what it says that the cat piano received more comments than this post.
