Death by clutter.

A Washington woman suffocated to death buried in the clutter in her home. Now this is tragic and all, but I find in this story three smazing facts.

1. She was reported MISSING by her husband who didn't know she was buried in the SAME HOUSE.

2. It took authorities TEN HOURS to find her in their SECOND SEARCH.

3. "This is without a doubt the most cluttered residence I've ever been to," Davenport told KIRO-TV. Well, duh, thanks for adding that.

Somehow the word "clutter" just doesn't seem sufficient for a pile of stuff that can kill a woman and hide her from her husband and the authorities for days. This would certainly be an X-Files episode if that show were still on the air.
