Hell freezes over: serious discourse on Fark.

Talk about the United States Grand Prix F1 debacle on Fark surprisingly turned serious and interesting. Here is a followup thread today on Michelin's comments. These threads have hundreds and hundreds of comments, and some great discussion of the many issues. Sometimes Fark is just plain surprising, and not for the funny stuff.

I could make some knee-jerk comment about how the reason for this is that F1 fans are smarter and more discerning, but I won't go for that. I will be low enough to mention it though, which is nearly the same thing. I love the T-shirt mentioned that says, "Too smart for NASCAR, too dumb for opera."

I didn't realize F1 existed here. You've heard of Michael Schumacher? How about rally driving and Colin MacRae? I tried to trade in a rally driving PS2 game and was told it never released here.

Colin McRae? Yeah sure. The one we played was WRC, very cool rally goodness.
