Don't mind the Googlespiders.

The fun reason to have Google AdSense is to see what subjects it comes up with for ads. (See my sidebar at left for sample.) The Googlespiders crawl through your blog from time to time and look for keywords and frequencies and then select the ads to display based on that data. If you get enough click throughs, they send you a check. Pretty frigging unlikely with my blog, because YOU GUYS AREN'T BUYING ENOUGH! Especially you unemployed folks, be sure to send me all your money and fuck that food and rent stuff.

Anyway (remember when I said I wanted to change the name of the blog to "Anyway"?), the Googlespiders gave me ads about blogging, since I've been talking about blogging a lot on my blog. Frankly, with this post, the ads probably won't change for a while. Maybe I should think of an ad I'd like to see and then make a post talking about that thing a lot. Hmm.

Wonder what the Googlespiders will think of all the stuff about being unemployed. Maybe you'll get ads for resume-writing books?

IIRC this was a major complaint against the original G-mail program. At least blog sites are public domain!

As a Firefox user with Adblock and a specialized userChrome.css file, I don't see any ads. I actually kind of miss them, but not really.

I do love the Caucasians, it's true. "Hey, I've got a beverage here!"

We can fool the Googlespiders, they're not very smart.

Hey, you know my profile picture is a SHOE, you'd think that would help. Spiders can't see pictures, I guess.

Those skinny pointy shoes with the heels, those are Jimmy Choos? I like those a lot. I like those in ways you shouldn't like a shoe. No, I don't want to wear them, I mean I like the way they look.

they wish they were Jimmy Choo.

I don't know who Jimmy Choo is but I can't help wondering... if he was called Jimmy Chip would he be more into designing boats?

Check out the Google ads now, folks. The Googlespiders are listening.
