1,156 readers served!
I hate it when (how many of my blog posts start with these four words?) everybody gets all excited when a number gets to 25 or 100 or 1,000. That's just a way to fill a slow news day. "1,000 dead in Iraq since the end of hostilities." Is the 1,001st death any less important than the 1,000th? Is my 51st birthday less important than my 50th? Therefore, I hereby celebrate my 1,156th hit on this weblog.
Even though about half of those have been me working on the blog, but what the hell.

Why stop at integers?
Happy 49.78356th birthday, Chuck! (The decimal part is right, but I might be off one on the year.)
Yes, Crazy Math Guy, the year is 50.something, not 49.something. Otherwise, I'm sure that you're correct, or at least I'm sure I don't want to take the time to double check your math.
