Hated it.

I love gaming. A stronger word is in order: adore, cherish, revere? Walking through a casino in Vegas is like your sister was Gaming and you just found out she was a hooker.

I didn't gamble. Don't think I ever will. Like I always say, there are two things ruined by money, and one of them is gaming.

The fountains at the Bellagio were quite nice. The rest of Vegas looks like 1965 and smells like an ashtray. Rita Rudner, George Wallace, and Carrot Top are headliners here. How can that be true without a temporal anomaly?

I was taken aback by the weatherman who said, "Today's high, one hundred seven." Everywhere else I have lived, the weatherman would have said, "JESUS CHRIST! It's gonna be a HUNDRED AND SEVEN TODAY!!!"

If I had played my cards right (pun intended), I could have seen Kathy Griffin on Friday at Mandalay and Jerry Seinfeld on Saturday at Caesar's. But I didn't. I don't think I would have enjoyed them in Vegas anyway.

Mostly, I just missed LWC. After 17 days apart, we had three and then I left again. I can't live without her for very long.

Vegas holds nothing for me either. Not even the live shows that happen there interest me, because they occur ... there.

No, no, no. It's: "There are two things that are ruined by money, and gambling is the other one."

I'll be here all de week.

Only made it to Vegas last year, and I did enjoy the shows (we hit Blue Man, Penn & Teller, and one of the Cirque de Soleil shows), and there was enough other touristy stuff to keep us busy for a week without hitting a casino for anything other than killing time.

Although August is a lousy time to be in Vegas, I agree.

Yep, a business trip for me. Showing off our new game, Legends of Norrath, which was announced at Fan Faire.

LOL. Every time one of those happens in Vegas, I get really tempted to go. I still have a bunch of acquaintances on the Erollisi Marr server that I wouldn't mind meeting.
