Gotta rescue 'em all!

I've bashed Pokemon before, with its basic concept of capturing small animals and forcing them to fight each other at your whim.

The new "Rescue Team" games have a great twist on this, in which you actually play a Pokemon (which is cool) and you then spend your time rescuing other Pokemon. After that, they're your friends and will fight with you (not for you), which is pretty groovy.

Kudos and other obscure Latin words for the Nintendo folks on this new line of thought.

You are aware of, and hold opinions on, the most ESOTERIC SHIT. I love it.

You go.

I really wish that I could bottle nintendo's success and save it for a rainy day.

They are probably the most successful kids franchise in the gaming industry.

The Pokemon video games are the best bug catching/cock fighting/animal husbandry sims ever.

I had always figured them for kids stuff until I tried the latest Nintendo DS version and realized that there's quite a deep game behind it.
