Somebody tell Jack Frost we're up to date.

Twenty-four inches last week, twelve more this week. That makes up for the 8 years I spent in Norfolk with nary a snowfall. In fact, that works out to a nice 4-inch snowfall each of those 8 years. I've enjoyed it, it's been beautiful, but that's enough for a while. And I must find a snow shovel somewhere. They've been scarce.

Now, I remember back in 1999 or 2000, we had about 6 inches of snow that lingered for a week. That might have been the origin of "drive safe."
