Best and Worst Sci-Fi TV Show Openings.

Well, the subject line says it all. This is really fun and geeky. The only one of the Top 10 I couldn't recite from memory was Space 1999, which I never watched. I knew better, as a veteran of Supercar and Mission: Impossible. There were many of the Bottom 10 I was not familiar with (Manimal?), but fun to read about anywho.

Ooohhhh... Space 1999 was great. very serious for scifi of its time, and full of special effects (including unrealistic explosions of wire-rigged model "Eagles") and meaningful dramatic glances.

I woud have listed ThunderBirds, for the same reason he listed Greatest American SuperHero.

And I really like the new Battlestar credits. Season 1 and Season 2. Its all about the music though I think...

And in the non-scifi realm, me and the GW love the Resuce me opening tune & titles.

Actually, having read his BSG 2005-06 justification in full, I agree with his reasoning. Really only one thing that bugs him here, and you can probably guess what it is if you've watched more than 3 episodes and got hooked on the plot.
