A eugalp fo Nevaeh.

Our pop culture is screwed up, especially when it dramatically influences how parents name their children. MTV has named a generation of little girls.

Chances are you don't have any friends named Nevaeh. Chances are today's toddlers will.... The surge of Nevaeh can be traced to a single event: the appearance of a Christian rock star, Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D., on MTV in 2000 with his baby daughter, Nevaeh. "Heaven spelled backwards," he said.
Ugh. I know that when we named our son, we thought we were being clever and original only to find out that his name was the most popular name for a boy baby that year. At least we got it from Irish history and not a rock star on television.
