Pit stop for sponsor change?
Vodafone has posted a forty-one BILLION dollar loss. I only knew that company name because it's on the side of the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 low-flying aircraft. Vodafone is a "wireless penetration" provider. (That's what the article says!)
Still, the operator outlined a strategy to cut its costs including outsourcing its information technology application development and maintenance activities, regional consolidation of its data centers and cutting more than 400 jobs.If 400 jobs = $41 billion, then somebody is getting overpaid. I guess you should be happy that your company can say they had a $41B loss and they're still around.
