Mr. Rogers melts Congress.

Some hard-hearted bastard running a Congressional committee met his match in Fred Rogers during a hearing for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting in 1969. Your President Richard Milhous Nixon had a costly war going at the time and wanted to cut funding for CPB. Mr. Rogers works this guy like a rented mule, displaying his magical concern for children and persuasive ability to stump for what he believes in. It's a long clip, but the payoff at the end is priceless.
