The hits just keep on coming.
I like the caption for this picture, it even has alliteration:
Albert Pujols acknowledges the adoring crowd after connecting on a three-run home run in the seventh inning. Here are some juicy quotes from the rest of the article:
"He amazes a lot of people, but to us, it's just Albert," closer Jason Isringhausen said. "We don't know where we'd be without him."
"I got another chance, and I came through," Pujols said. "That's what it's all about, stay focused and get a good pitch to hit, and hopefully come through."

The only thing that's gotten me about Pujols so far this year was his defense of Bonds. Kind of tarnishes his image some, but I can understand that, since he has a very "proof" oriented tact. He wants to see some definitive proof before condemning him.
But, still, I'm still more inclined to believe he's not 'roiding. He's been kind of annoyingly more vocal this year than last, though, which kinda sucks. But he's defending teammates, for the most part (defending Isringhausen and Encarnacion during their slumps), so I can't fault him too much.
