It's a really good cloak.

"Was there any emotion you didn't feel?" That's what LWC asked me after we finished viewing Crash. A terrific film. It jumbles around with a dozen storylines that occasionally come together and hit you like a sledgehammer.

Wonderful performances from an amazing assortment of actors (my God, even Tony Danza has a good scene). The issues that the stories tackle are not pleasant ones.

I've never read a review of this film that made sense, and that's not a bad thing. It's complex and interwoven and just a great film, well-made in every way. Okay, I didn't like the two sappy songs at the end, but otherwise, perfect.

Crash is on my list. If you like multiple plot threads check out the excellent Syriana with George Clooney. It's cool to see Alexander Siddig get his teeth into a movie role and the boy does well with it too.

Crash is on my list too. I watched the extra stuff on the DVD and started to watch the film with commentary. I couldn't make it through the Matt Dillon traffic stop early in the film. Some scenes are tough, but man, what a movie. I'll check out Syriana, LWC loves George.
