Move it to your house.

There have been a lot of movie reviews lately saying, "stay away," so I'm happy to report that we found a film you should all rush out to see.

The newest Studio Ghibli product, Howl's Moving Castle, is as good as anything else they've ever done. That's saying a lot.

I keep coming back to the word "delightful" when thinking about this movie. For me, the eponymous castle itself is worth buying the DVD. I love watching it walk. The characters are wonderful, inventive, and unexpected. The story, based on a book, is lovely and even has a nice ending for once.

We have a Target Greatland in our area that I've seen from the freeway several times and salavated over. (You can see it on the way to the zoo, so I've seen it a few times recently.) I finally drove over there yesterday and learned that some things are only a little bit better when you make them bigger.

However, I did purchase Howl's Moving Castle because I intended to see it in the theater and I never found it in release at the right time. I know it will be good, but haven't watched it yet.

I don't think I would have remembered to get it if I hadn't been looking extra closely at the new, exotic displays, so at least my trip to the "foreign" Target netted me something.

I rented (from Blockbuster! gasp!) Porco Rosso too, we'll watch it this weekend. Have you seen that one? I think it's the only Ghibli film we haven't seen.

I rented Steamboy too, can't resist the Otomo.
