Always nice to see the hometown in the news (and on Fark). Crazy publicity stunt looks like something Cubs fans did. I have no idea what "the birds will show up on other billboards sometime soon" means. Will they be perched on the huge flashing Budweiser eagle? Stay tuned.
Always nice to see the new adopted hometown in the news (and on Fark). One inch of snow produces hundreds of accidents as transplants from all over the country display their lack of knowledge about driving on one inch of snow. I'm telling you folks, snow is dangerous in Virginia Beach, no matter how much.
Finally I find out what kind of headlights those piercing blue things are that hurt LWC's eyes when she's driving. Maybe she's allergic to xenon. I have to admit that I find them painful as well. Sometimes I even use that dopey lever on the bottom of the rear view mirror to cut the glare.

The thing about xenon headlights, which people don't seem to understand, is that they give a much more focused beam. The cars that have real xenon headlights you will never have a problem with, they just look blue, but don't shine at your car, since they're calibrated to shine down lower, toward the ground.
The problem is that there are knockoffs, headlights which are normal, tinted blue, and brighter, which function more like ordinary headlights. Those are the ones hurting everyone's eyes.
My roommate's Lexus has real xenon headlights, and while I hate driving that car, the headlights are amazing, and he's driven behind me before and I've never had a problem with them, so seems true enough to me.
HAH...Lynx/Links...i get it!!!
I have to go and make sure is used "witty" as a word to describe you chuck
I think everybody did.
Everybody did what... describe you as witty, or get the lynx pun?
(I'm embarrassed to admit that I only got the pun the second time I looked at this post. Duh.)
I only got it because my Druid runs around with a lynx cub pet in DAoC.
So I actually knew it was a lynx right off. :P
Everybody finds me witty. Now I have proof.
