Ah Major, but the finely-crafted Long Island Tea has but a tiny drop of Coke in it for color. It really is the color of apple juice on ice. As far as the smell goes, seems to me that all those white liquors are not as stinky as whisky or scotch, but I will defer to more experienced drinkers in this regard.

How could she not have noticed that it wasn't apple juice? The Coke in it should have made it a lot darker than apple juice would be.
And for that matter, you'd think she could have smelled the alcohol. Methinks she just smelled "money" instead.

WTF, when has anyone ever mistaken the HUGE glass a Long Island comes in, for a glass of Apple Juice.
THE HECK with the mother, what was the server thinking ?!?
But then the Major is right every body screams lottery now and takes some body else to court whenever they think they can make any money off something
Mom was probably saucing it up too. Hard to smell booze on your kids breath when yours matches as well.
