Hyperlink movies.

I like movies like this, even though I haven't seen any of these examples. Threads of plot develop separately and then converge to make a story.

The term describes movies in which the characters inhabit separate stories, but we gradually discover how those in one story are connected to those in another.

Robert Altman, for example, is a crazy old fool, but he makes very interesting movies.
