It's not just for Attika anymore.

When playing the German board game Attika, players reveal land tiles from a shuffled stack during the game. These tiles have various resources used to play the game printed on them. There are two tiles that have only two resources, and we call them "ass tiles" because they suck ass. However, Tee has found actual ass tiles that you can decorate your bathroom with.

We even have a German supplier that has designed and provided us a tile known as the “Ass Tile”. That’s right, the tile has a perfect impression of a behind. Perfect as an accent tile for the bathroom, water closet, etc.

For a minute there, I'm looking at that picture thinking "this must be one of those super-close-up pictures of somebody's fingers or something... it can't really be what I think it is." But then I read the post and, of course, it is.

I'd almost forgotten about "ass tiles." Attika, like Puerto Rico, has tragically fallen off my radar. I know I regularly extol the virtues of Colorado, but one big down side is that those kinds of games don't always go over well with my regular gaming group here. They'll play Goa, but the others have all received negative-to-lukewarm reception, it seems.

We've been playing a WizKids board game (the only one, I think) called Tsuro that's a cool tile laying game. You might get 'em to play that one.

We played Traders of Genoa again and really liked it. Well I did, I won. We've also been playing Camelot Legends, a game by Andrew Parks.

Yeah, as these guys know, I picked up Tsuro after playing it once. Big hit at the office even. I advertise it as "1 minute to learn, 10-15 minutes to play". I deliver that promise with up to 8 players and they all enjoy it.

As for Camelot Legends, minus the last game, Long live Sir Lamorek!
