El blanco mysterioso.
I wasn't kidding when Cheddar posted the Salsa Blanco recipe and I said I'd make it myself. I did! It's great! For my money, when I opened the new cumin we bought, that smell was it. I think this recipe is a little thicker in consistency than I've seen in restaurants, but maybe that makes for better dipping. I did leave it in the fridge for 3 hours, but there's still some Miracle Whip taste. Maybe more milk or sour cream? Or use mayo instead? Anyway, muchas gracias, Tomas.

I've never made it... but a squeeze of lime may cut the sweet Miracle Whip taste without killing the creaminess.
That's a good suggestion. I checked out some other recipes for this online, and many had some lime. Thanks! :)
