Return to Humanity.
My good friend Knetik called me the other day and asked if I wanted some freelance work to help him out of a jam. I said sure, and as a result, I've had two days of real work in an office and more to come next week. I'm making comps of packaging mostly, which is fun stuff, much more fun than pushing pixels around. All the people there have been terrific, and it's great to see Monica and Anthony again.
The best thing I got from this is some freshened perspective. All those stupid worries I was having are put to rest: I can still drive a car (even in rush hour), I can co-exist with other people, I can find my shoes (and socks!). I even discovered that I can still make a Bezier curve, after about 8 years. Some things you never forget, I guess. Cool.
I figure I owe you guys a post like this since I have blogged about slipping into hermit mode from time to time. I came out of the cave and the weather is nice!
