Why you should watch Firefly on SciFi.
"Firefly" was created by Joss Whedon, who also created a blonde vampire-slayer you may have heard of. His sci-fi show was cancelled midseason, only airing 11 episodes. So why should you watch a half-finished science fiction/western from three years ago?
Eight great reasons in the linked article. How about the fact that it's one of the best shows ever to hit TV? Or that when Firefly flies, it's filmed with a "hand held" camera look, and there's no sound in space? The fascinating characters? Terrific dialogue? Inara?
And remember, every time you support a canceled Fox show, somewhere a network executive loses his wings.

As I mentioned in my most recent blog post, this ain't no joke. Firefly is pretty kickass indeed. And if Chuck's reason's weren't enough to get you to watch, you should know that a professional "escort" is part of the ship's crew. How can you say no to that?
Ok, I'm going to out myself here as not being a Firefly fan. I only watched one episode when it was originally on but found it dusty and dull. Sorry.
I do have to point out though that the escort/prostitute/hooker/whore crew member is NOT an original idea. On the original (and in retrospect silly) Battlestar Galactica, Casseopia was a hooker as well.
