Funny stuff on the ultimate debunker website. Snopes is one of those "final solution" websites, meaning that when you quote it during a discussion, it's accepted as fact and the case is closed. Wikipedia is fast approaching this kind of finality. From Neil Gaiman.

My favorite is this one:
"Is it true that a girl cannot get pregnant if her mate smokes the seeds of marijuana when he smokes marijuana, please tell me if this is true because a lot of people tell me it is true and a lot of people tell me it's not and I don't know whaether to believe it or notbecause [sic] this town lies a lot. thanks."
Yeah, the introductory paragraph talks about "a sense of urgency," which is scary about some of these. :)
