I still like .hack.

Project .hack is my Final Fantasy. I got in on the ground floor thanks to Corazón (actually she got there first, but you know what I mean). I got unbelievably deep into the project as a fan and as a licensee (again getting to name characters in the franchise, just like with Star Wars). I still wear the T-shirts.

The new game (we all knew there would be another one) is called ".hack//G.U." The Bandai website has a trailer, and it shows evil edgy new guy with chainsaw weapon (chainsaw in .hack?). He then meets up with new evil edgy Kite, who beats him in a fight with one hand behind his back. Literally! No more girly boy Kite.

Nice to know I can still be a sappy fanboy about something.

I tend to believe that you are a sappy fanboy about a great many things chuck, including but not limited to ... Monica Bellucci

Hey Chuck, Scott Goodrich here. I was roaming through various message boards and one linked to another which linked to another which linked to your blog. Just wanted to say that I'm glad you're still a .hack fan! I thought the gameplay got boring after a while, but the storyline was just so damn addicting that I kept playing. I'll have to start looking for the new game/storyline arc!

Game on...
