Ten things Milton Glaser has learned
Famous graphic designer Milton Glaser provides his list of ten guides to modern living. From the designer's perspective, they have much to offer to everyone. Simple truths about ethics and making choices. Among Glaser's wonderful designs is the "I Love NY" logo which has since been prostituted in every conceivable fashion. I tried to find a bio with samples of Glaser's work to show you younguns, but maybe a simple Google image search will provide some things you'll recognize. The man is a creator of icons, and an idol of mine from way back. In college, it was the highlight of my day to find a copy of the magazine from his Push Pin Studios laying around some teacher's office.

I don't have much to say as I am still digesting a lot of that list, but I feel compelled to note that I'm very glad I read it.
I think I will have to wait a couple of days and read it again to really get something out of it.
That's some hefty stuff there for sure, and I think Milt has been working on it for many decades. I liked best the one that said you do your best work when you're working for somebody you like.
